I’m Alyssa, Founder of Midlife T1D

I’m a midlife woman with Type 1 Diabetes, a former interior designer turned wellness mentor, and someone who spent years trying to hold everything together for everyone else.

I’m still on my journey too, including working toward losing 20 pounds and understanding my midlife hormones and I’m here to help women like us feel steadier, calmer, and more empowered… without perfection.

Why I Created Midlife T1D

Because I know how exhausting midlife + Type 1 Diabetes can be.
I’ve lived the hormone chaos, the unpredictable blood sugars, the burnout, the guilt, the weight struggles, and the emotional rollercoaster.

And after finally finding more balance ,emotionally and physically, I felt called to help other women feel that same sense of steadiness and hope.
